The Civilization Collection - A Classic Strategy Collection now Playable on Windows XP and VISTA!

Civilization I

Civilization is a classic, a cult game so to say. This is the game that started it all. The idea was brilliant and so was everything else in this game. It has a fantastic introduction while the number of units, civilizations to choose from, terrains, ways of negotiating is enormous. Shortened, everything you need for a good strategy game. In the beginning you get to choose your race (Romans, Germans, Americans etc.), level of difficulty and number of civilizations (they don’t neccessarily have to be opponents).

In the game itself you start with a settler which you use to build a city on a suitable spot (you will have help popups and if you take your time reading them everything should be pretty much simple). Once you build your city in it you can build units and different buildings, you also get to start discovering different things, starting from basic ones such as the wheel. The goal is to build a spaceship and send it to Alpha Centauri. Once you have done that, you win the game. After that you can either end the game or continue playing until you defeat all other civilizations.

Civilization II

You start out yr. 4000 B.C. with a small group of settlers and a covered map. First thing you need to do, is to find a good location where to place your first city. From there you have to develop the land and research new technologies. As the game progresses you also have to start building an army, to defend yourself from any neighbors with hostile intentions.
You can face up to 6 computer-controlled civilizations during the game, and each of them has their unique behavior. Any actions you take towards one of them, might give you a bad reputation, making the others less friendly towards you, and if you are really careless, they will start forming alliances against you. You have several difficulty levels, ranging from very easy, to the once where the computer actually cheats.

The Ultimate Lemmings Collection - A Classic Strategy Collection now Playable on Windows XP and VISTA!

Lemmings

We start off with the original Lemmings. A puzzle game that is very cool, original, refreshing, and interesting in every way! The concept is very cute: on each level, your task is to save as many lemmings as possible. Lemmings are small creatures with green hair that wobbles back and forth while they walk. You can accomplish various missions by giving your lemmings some special abilities. For example, you can provide them with umbrellas, make them dig, climb, build stairs, explode … you practically control their existence. Each level consists of an entry point from which they fall out at a certain rate, and an exit point which they have to reach. The missions are very diverse and can be solved in many different ways. Levels are also very different in size, layout and texture. If you fail a mission, you can start over as many times as you like. You are always given a percentage of lemmings that you have to rescue in order to advance to the next level. When you manage to do this, you’ll get a password that you can use for accessing that level directly when restarting the game. This game will provide fun and pleasure for both kids and adults. Wonderful gameplay and originality, excellent graphics, and great sound!

Holiday Lemmings

They’re back in red, and entering the ultimate christmas adventure. The Holiday Lemmings are a collection of special versions of Lemmings released as a demonstration for the original Lemmings and Oh no! More Lemmings games.

Oh No! More Lemmings!

This is the sequel to the famous Lemmings, and it adds even more fun to the world of Lemmings. There are now five new difficulties to play, from the easiest Tame to the more difficult Havoc. There are new graphics (it?s still using the old Lemmings-engine, so the graphics are not better, just new themes) and new fancy melodies (not any technically improvements here either) to listen to when you guide your Lemmings-friends into freedom.

Lemmings 2 - The Tribes

If you have never played lemmings before it will at first be pretty confusing. Even seasoned lemmings players found this new installment confusing at first. There are many new lemming ”breeds” such as sand pourer’s and jet packers. However you won’t be disappointed as many of the old lemming ”breeds” are included as well! Bashers have returned and just like before these little lemmings smash their way through walls, while stompers smash through floors. The graphics are very bright and colorful and the game is very playable. At the end of each level you will be greeted with a podium and depending on how many lemmings you saved you will stand on place 1, 2 or 3. The actual lemmings gameplay can be described as purely addictive puzzle fun.

Lemmings 3 - The Lemmings Chronicles

More lemming action this time with new skills and obstacles for them to overcome. Three islands to adventure on each featuring a different tribe of Lemmings to save. They are as follows, Classic Lemmings, Egyptian Lemmings, or the Shadow Lemmings.

Lemmings 3D

You, as in all other Lemmings games, are responsible for helping hoards of lemmings through hazardous environments to safety. However, this lemmings game goes just that little bit further by introducing the lemmings to 80 new 3-dimensional levels!

Transport Tycoon and Transport Tycoon Deluxe - A Classic Simulation Collection now Playable on XP and VISTA!

Transport Tycoon

You’re a transportation manager in this game. You choose your starting landscape (Europe, toy land, South America, desert) and your skill level. In this game you can build different transportation lines, like transporting coal to a coal power plant, or oil from the oil wells to the oil refinery. A variety of transportation vehicles are available such as ships, trains, buses & trucks, helicopters and trains. The game has an isometric graphics engine and a jazz-style soundtrack.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe

The Deluxe version contains new features that were not present in the original Transport Tycoon: the time scale of the game became larger, including futuristic vehicles such as monorails; and the editor is much more advanced, allowing you to create entire maps with terrain and cities positioned the way you like. Also, there are some new scenery themes, such as snowy and desert areas.
